皆様、 お知らせがないままになっていたこと、大変申し訳ありません。 このメッセージが、全ての方に届きますように。 2017年は慌ただしく過ぎました。 11月に香港へ渡航した際には、光栄なことに、なんとニック・ブイチチさん、ご本人にお会いしました！ 彼は本当に素敵な方ででした。 彼の家族について沢山お話を伺い、もうすぐ双子の女の子たちが生まれるというエキサイティングなニュースを聞きました！ ニックは、素晴らしい人格者であり、その笑顔はチャーミングでした。 ディナーパーティーでは、私たちのために祈ってくださり、世界中にいる彼の友達に感謝していました。 その夜の私達が交わした会話を私は決して忘れることはありません。 その後、私は絵本の作者と編集チーム、香港とシンガポールから来た“Give me a hug”のセールスチームの皆さんとミーティングを行いました。 彼の国で、“Give me a hug”や “Dream Big”のシリーズがベストセラーになった経験を伺い、私は大変多くのことを学びました。 さて、日本についてですが、この数ヶ月、日本のの翻訳＆編集チームは最終原稿を仕上げるために頑張ってきました。 何度も技術的な困難に直面しましたが、神様のおかげで、全て修正することができました。 大変長らくおまたせしておりましたが、この春、日本の印刷会社へ入稿し印刷する準備が整いましたことを、ここにお知らせしたいと思います。 今まで我慢強くお待ちくださって、本当に、本当にありがとうございます。 私たちは “Give me a hug”を、ご家族や友達とシェアできる日がくるように、良質な日本語と美しい印刷で届けたい一心で活動を続けています。 最後に、私達チーム一同、これまでお待たせしたお詫びと共に、サポートして頂いていること、心からお礼申し上げます。 I am so sorry I haven’t been staying in touch with you. I hope this message finds you all well. The last several months of 2017 have been crazily busy. Last November, I had the great honor to go to Hong Kong to meet with Nick Vujicic! What a wonderful man he is! He talked about his family a lot and how exciting his family was to expect their new twin girls! Nick has such beautiful personality and charming smile. He prayed for us and thanked all his friends around the world at the dinner party. I will never forget our conversations that evening! After that, I also had meetings with the author, editorial team, and sales team of “Give me a hug” from Hong Kong and Singapore. I have learnt so much from their experiences being the Bestsellers of “Give me a hug”, “Dream Big”, and so on in their countries! Now about us in Japan, in the past few months, our translation and editorial teams have been working very hard to try to come up with the final draft. We face many technical difficulties, but thank you God that they are fixed now.
